Bhartiya Kisan Sangh is an organization which is “for the Farmer, by the Farmer and of the farmer.” This is a paramount organization which is active in all the states of our country and have large number of members in the country as well as in the Gujarat State. Organization’s sound network covers majority of the villages of our country and work for the benefits of farmer and resolve issues related to farmers.

Bhartiya Kisan Sangh was founded under the able leadership of Late Shree Dattopant Bapurao Thengadi, an eminent thinker of the Country. Under his strong guidance Bhartiya Majdoor Sangh, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch and other national level institutions were established.

In Rajsthan, at “KOTA”, on 3rd and 4th March 1979, there was an All India Farmers Meet and in that SAMMELAN, Bhartiya Kisan Sangh formed National Level and State Level committees. This convention was attended by thousands of farmers from all over the country. In this Sammelan GUJARAT PRADESH Kisan Sangh was also formed and since then, this organization has been working for resolving problems of farmers and are involved in the welfare activities for the farmers.

Currently, Organization’s office is at “Balram Mandir Parisar” located at capital of Gujarat state Gandhinagar, in sector 12/D area. This organization’s Trust Registration Number is GUJ/337. This organization got exemption from the income tax department under section Nop 80(G) and reg. number is CIT/GNR/80G(5)GNR-70/2006-07, DT.18/09/2007.

Objectives of B.K.S.

Keeping in mind the wider interest of the nation, the organization has to unite farmers and help for their overall growth, making them independent for their development in thrust areas of economic, social and education.

In this technological era, the farmers must be aware of all the scientific and technological inventions related to the agricultural industry for their better growth and this information therefore motivates the farmers to adopt modern tools and technique of farming.

Arrange Kisan Sammelan, training classes, get together of farmers, Krushi tours and Krushi fairs to help farmers in solving various issues and develop a sense of brotherhood among farmers.

To work for getting the remunerative prices for the crops, promote organic farming, water conservation, agriculture processing, conservation of local cows, and sustainable development among the farmers. Bhartiya Kisan Sangh follows the motto "Samras Samaj” to unite the farmers of all over the country.
